About the role
- This is a full-time position (40 hours weekly).

Purpose of the position:
- The Area Director is entrusted with growing and sustaining the CCO Ministry in the assigned area. This will involve hiring supervising and mentoring staff coordinating Campus Staff and Ministry Supervisors leading and maintaining church partnerships hosting area events managing the area budget and personal support raising.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education:Bachelors Degree required
- Experience:
- 5 years of ministry experience is required.
- 3-5 years of management and campus ministry experience preferred.
- Support raising experience preferred
Job Description:
Maintaining and Multiplying Ministry Contexts
- Coordinate up to 25 ministry contexts (Campus Church Partner Staff/Volunteer); including renewing annual partnership agreements running area budgets and hosting area staff and recruiting events.
- With Ministry Supervisors conduct annual assessments of the health and effectiveness of all ministry contexts according to the expectations in the Partnership and Campus Ministry Playbooks.
- In collaboration with Marketing develop a communication plan for the area.
- In collaboration with the Partnership Team multiply ministry contexts by proactively identifying potential ministry contexts mentoring and supporting College Ministry Teams (volunteers and/or staff of partner churches).
Hiring Equipping and Supervising Staff
- Recruit and train new staff and leaders to build leadership teams that reflect the community.
- Responsible for hiring Campus Staff and Ministry Supervisors for all ministry contexts in a given area.
- In collaboration with the Staff Development Department and other various CCO resources equip Campus Staff and Ministry Supervisors to achieve ministry outcomes as outlined in the Campus Ministry Playbook and Ministry Plan.
- Recruit and hire Ministry Supervisors who assist in the oversight of 2-5 Ministry Contexts.
- In collaboration with the Staff Development Department and Talent Acquisition & Mobilization Team develop a recruitment strategy for Fellows and Mentors.
- Conduct semi-annual performance reviews of all direct reports implementing annual performance plans handling compensation and all necessary documentation thereof.
- Approving expense reports of all direct reports.
