Role description:
The Places sustainability consulting team works across several sectors such as Property & Investment Government and Public Sector Industrials and Technology advising clients on sustainability risks and opportunities and decarbonising their real asset portfolios.
You will play an active part in driving your career development and will be exposed to a variety of projects across the business. Technical experience is key in our sector which is why we will provide you with a clear framework to work towards chartership. Youll benefit from structured training mentoringplus funding and support foraccreditations relevant to your programme as well as the assistanceyou need to develop and succeed.
Focussed on sustainability youll be working within a diverse team of consultants cultivating a deep understanding of our sectors building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues and finding ways to improve ways in which we work. Youll be responsible for your own deliverables liaising with clients and given every opportunity to build your skillsets.
Role accountabilities:
As an ESG Consultant in our Places team you will support clients across investment industrials technology government and other sectors to understand key sustainability risks and opportunities when they are acquiring properties or refurbishing their existing property portfolios across the UK and Europe. We do this by providing a range of environmental social and governance (ESG) services. You will be fundamental in driving our digital solutions to analyse assess and report on matters such as Net Zero Carbon climate change risk green building certification and sustainable building design among others. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and market leading team learn about a rapidly changing landscape of regulatory and market drivers in real estate investment and support some of the largest investment firms in the world.
- Accepted degrees: BSc or MSc in one of the following: Mechanical Engineering Construction Management Design & Architecture Sustainable Development Geography Geosciences Environmental Change Renewable Energy Sustainability & Environmental Management Building Services or Building Physics.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate with a Masters or Bachelors degreein a relevant subject. You will enjoy working in a team environment and have the confidence to work under pressure
- You will be innovative & creative
- Resilient and able to deal with ambiguity
- Be a strategic and analytical thinker
- Excellent communication skills and technical knowledge appropriate for the area you are applying to
- Relevant work experience through internships would be advantageous
- Willing to travel and stay away from homewhen required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
