Position Description:
Role: Senior Test Engineer - Automation and Manual Banking Domain UFT VB Script
5-7 years - Mumbai
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Direct Responsibilities
Understand technical and Business processes of various different workflows in application.
Perform SIT and regression testing as per the release plan.
Should have good hands-on experience in functional sanity regression testing.
Should have working experience and knowledge in UFT.
Should be able to understand the functional requirements and convert them into automation scripts using UFT.
Write Technical Test cases.
Document Test results and follow-up with development team for resolving issues.
Perform functional and regression testing as per the release plan.
Should be able to perform all testing related activities in the project.
Strong technical knowledge on Quality Centre/ALM JIRA (Application Life Cycle Management).
Ability to work within tight deadlines.
Must have good analytical skills.
Contributing Responsibilities
Teamwork.
Communicating and escalating issues and status.
Contribute to Functional & regression testing for the release
Contribute to Integration testing within application chain (Good to have).
Ensure all the Jira/Requirements for the release are tested within timeliness and schedule.
Maintain quality of deliverable
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Primary
Should have good hands-on experience in UFT VBScript (MUST HAVE)
Should have good communication skills.
Secondary
Should have good knowledge in Test Management Tools HP ALM JIRA
NICE to have experience good knowledge on banking domain and knowledge on Bonds CDS and Index
