Job Description
Join a fast-growing Payment Service Provider backed by a global fintech brand trusted by 300000 merchants worldwideincluding SEGA LG Shopify and Tencent. We offer cross-border acquiring local payment methods risk management and subscription billing for digital commerce.
Were on a mission to connect businesses and consumers through secure inclusive and scalable payment solutionsand were looking for a Compliance Officer to help us stay ahead of evolving regulations while maintaining operational integrity.
Tasks
- Lead and maintain our regulatory compliance program
- Research new and existing laws affecting the business; implement required policy updates
- Advise senior leadership on risk and compliance strategy
- Draft review and maintain compliance policies and procedures
- Liaise with regulators and support license applications (where applicable)
- Prepare compliance and risk reports for internal stakeholders
- Track audits risk assessments and remediation actions
- Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve compliance processes
Requirements
- 3 years in compliance within fintech payments or financial services
- Exposure to 2nd level of defence
- Strong grasp of UK financial regulations
- Experience drafting policies and dealing directly with regulators (a big plus!)
- Relevant certifications (ICA ACAMS etc.) preferred
- Bachelors degree in Law Finance or Business
- Detail-oriented analytical and confident communicator
- Able to work independently while collaborating across teams
