Job Description

Milengo is actively seeking a freelance DTP specialist to support us in the process of localizing FIGMA files for our client base.

Tasks

Core responsibilities:

Figma File Preparation for Translation

  • Work directly in Figma to identify translatable content
  • Prepare the files for translation

Export to Translatable Format

  • Export the content for translation we recommend xliff-translate free plugin

Reimport & DTP

  • Import translated files back into Figma
  • Perform DTP adjustments such us fixing layout issues

Requirements

Required skills and experience:

  • Figma knowledge in the context of DTP and localization (no need to design from the scratch)
  • Experience working on multilingual Figma files also for Asian languages
  • Understanding of font handling in Figma especially for Asian languages
  • Experience with file preparation for CAT tools
  • Familiarity with Figma localization plugins (exporting/importing files)
  • Availability: 15-20 hours per month
  • Freelance status

Selected candidates will be required to complete an assessment as part of the hiring process
