Overview
The MD DNB General Medicine Consultant position in Bhandup West Mumbai is a vital role within our healthcare organization aimed at providing comprehensive medical care to our patients. This role is essential to ensure the highest standards of preventive curative and rehabilitative services are delivered. The consultant will assess diagnose and manage a diverse range of medical conditions contributing notably to patient wellbeing and clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities

- Formulate comprehensive treatment plans based on diagnostic findings.

- Supervise junior doctors and medical students in clinical settings.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.
- Engage in patient education and counseling regarding health management.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest medical research and advancements in general medicine.
- Perform specific medical procedures as required.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and governance standards.
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
- Respond to medical emergencies within the hospital setting.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and case discussions.
- Assist in training and mentoring medical staff.
- Participate in hospital committees to enhance overall patient care.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DNB in General Medicine from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in Maharashtra.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Strong background in managing a wide range of medical conditions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Experience in conducting clinical research is a plus.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
