Job Description
Are you a conceptual thinker who can weave words into captivating narratives Do you possess the instinct of a seasoned copywriter and the vision of a filmmaker If so this role is for you! Were seeking a highly creative and experienced individual to craft compelling stories across various formats primarily for video and film. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact initiative with a well-known brand at the forefront of AI and innovation.
- Compensation: $3200-3600/week (Hourly rate will vary based on experience)
- Contract Duration: 1 year
- Location: Hybrid in San Francisco also open to LA (work in-person with the team when needed)
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week

What Youll Do:
- Craft compelling narratives: Write creative concise copy for social media video and film projects including scripts captions and story-driven content. Are you ready to bring your storytelling prowess to a global brand
- Collaborate and innovate: Work closely with designers producers and editors to develop and refine concepts and narratives. Do you thrive in a collaborative environment pushing creative boundaries
- Visualize your words: Shape storyboards and assist with film or video production processes ensuring clear and compelling storytelling. Can you translate your written words into impactful visuals
- Embrace AI: Experiment with AI-powered writing tools (ChatGPT Jasper etc.) to enhance ideation and scriptwriting. Are you excited to explore the intersection of human creativity and cutting-edge technology
- Adapt and conquer: Adapt tone and style to fit different platforms and audience segments. Can you seamlessly tailor your writing to resonate with diverse audiences
- Innovate and inspire: Help brainstorm new formats narratives and creative ideas that leverage both human and AI creativity. Do you have a passion for pushing the boundaries of creative storytelling
- Manage multiple projects: Work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and quick turnarounds. Are you comfortable juggling multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines
Qualifications :
- 0 years of experience in copywriting ideally with a focus on video film or social content.
- A strong portfolio showcasing scripts short films commercials or social video copy. Are you ready to showcase your exceptional work
- Ability to write clear engaging dialogue and narrative suited to video/film storytelling.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative teams (designers producers editors).
- Comfort experimenting with AI writing tools and new content formats.
- Understanding of social media platforms and what kind of content works best where.
- Excellent storytelling skills and the ability to adapt tone and voice for different audiences.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in film production or directing especially short format and social media.
- Knowledge of AI creative tools beyond writing (e.g. for video animation).
- Side projects or passion work in storytelling video or AI content creation.
