The Site Superintendent coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality supervising all trade and field personnel while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities. Maintains the job site office and closes out projects in a timely manner.
- Ensure all required materials equipment and inspections occur to support the project schedule.
- Responsible for site safety. Ensure the overall jobsite is safe for workers and visitors as well as manage compliance with established company safety policies.
- Work with the project teams to budget forecast and manage field personnel as well as management of labor equipment materials tools and other cost considerations.
- Prepare work plans and develop temporary facilities for the project.
- Understand review and manage project plans specifications and manufacturers data and execute project based upon said documentation.
- Review construction documents for completeness and constructability.
- Manage the overall project and 5-week look ahead schedules including creating the master schedule and updating it on a weekly basis.
- Identifies problems in advance and recommends solutions.
- Generate RFIs (Requests for Information) as required to ensure completeness of the project documents and identifying and clarifying any discrepancies.
- Review submittals for compliance with project manual and plans manufacturers recommendations and code or other standards applicable to the system.
- With the project team to manage the companys quality control program for the project.
- Prepares Daily Reports progress photos Job Hazard Analysis Reports and supervises completion of a final punch list.
- Conduct preconstruction planning.
- Conduct on-site project meetings with subcontractors and construction trades lead personnel.
- Manage subcontractors for all work performed on-site.
- Maintains an organized job site including the construction site office.
- Management and supervision of work crews on-site including
- Manage foreman and their duties and ensure all have resources and information to perform their tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Manage the overall safety of the project and ensure all personnel have resources to perform their work safely.
- Other duties could include
- Work with the project team to maintain relationships with visitors subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage site work and logistics of construction site.
- Provide feedback on processes and procedures as the company truly believes in continuous development.

Qualifications :
- High school diploma/GED: Required
- Minimum of 3 years as a superintendent with at least 5-8 years in consutrction.
- Multifamily construction: Required
- A valid drivers license: Required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft programs suite and general computer use
- Preferred experience in: Microsoft Project Bluebeam and Procore
- Experience with Yardi: Preferred
- Expected to carry a mobile phone (Eligible for stipend).
