Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile HK Multi-Skilled Team Member to join our dynamic team in Novotel Long Eaton United Kingdom. As a key member of our housekeeping department you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness hygiene and overall appearance of our facility while providing exceptional service to our guests and colleagues.
- Perform a wide range of cleaning tasks including dusting vacuuming mopping and sanitizing various areas of the facility
- Maintain and organize inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks and report any issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all assigned areas/rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
- Follow all health and safety protocols including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist with additional tasks as needed such as laundry services or room setup for events
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
- Dusting bedroom furniture cleaning surfaces and walls.
- Making beds Vacuuming carpets and damp cleaning hard floor areas
- Cleaning bathrooms including baths shows wash basins tiles and toilets
- Reporting any maintenance issues and working safely
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning equipment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Health and safety certifications (preferred)
- Basic understanding of the hospitality or facilities management industry (beneficial)
