Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile HK Multi-Skilled Team Member to join our dynamic team in Novotel Long Eaton United Kingdom. As a key member of our housekeeping department you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness hygiene and overall appearance of our facility while providing exceptional service to our guests and colleagues.

  • Perform a wide range of cleaning tasks including dusting vacuuming mopping and sanitizing various areas of the facility
  • Maintain and organize inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Assist with basic maintenance tasks and report any issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure all assigned areas/rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
  • Follow all health and safety protocols including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Assist with additional tasks as needed such as laundry services or room setup for events
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Dusting bedroom furniture cleaning surfaces and walls.
  • Making beds Vacuuming carpets and damp cleaning hard floor areas
  • Cleaning bathrooms including baths shows wash basins tiles and toilets
  • Reporting any maintenance issues and working safely

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning equipment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Health and safety certifications (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of the hospitality or facilities management industry (beneficial)
