Job Description
Our client is one of the worlds leading producers of industrial equipment and intelligent automation solutions catering to the apparel and textiles industry.
They are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Representative to spearhead their expansion into new markets. The ideal candidate does not necessarily need to have sales experience (although that would be excellent) but they should have a strong desire to explore this function.
HSK Level 4/5 in Mandarin is required without exception. Professional working fluency in English is also required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- New Business Development: Identify and engage new clients in the apparel and textiles sector understanding their production needs and offering tailored equipment or solutions.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key accounts ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Solution Selling: Conduct client consultations assess operational challenges and recommend appropriate industrial equipment technologies or services to improve efficiency quality and scalability.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Market Insights: Stay up to date with industry trends technological advancements and competitor offerings to position the company as a market leader.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technical product and service teams to ensure smooth project delivery installation and after-sales support.
- Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts reports and performance updates to senior management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3-5 years of total working experience and a sales background/strong desire to try sales.
- Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels from plant managers to C-suite executives.
- Familiar with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
- HSK Level 4/5 in Mandarin is required. Professional working fluency in English and local language(s) is also required.
- Bachelors degree in Business Manufacturing or a related field is preferred.
