About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer (E1) to join our engineering team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with foundational experience in DevOps practices cloud infrastructure CI/CD and automation. You will collaborate with senior engineers to streamline development workflows automate infrastructure and ensure the reliability of our systems.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development configuration and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI).
Support infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform Ansible or AWS CloudFormation.
Monitor and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (AWS Azure or GCP).
Help in setting up and managing Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
Participate in code deployment and release activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build failures system configuration and deployments.
Document DevOps procedures and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Basic knowledge of scripting (e.g. Shell Python or Bash).
Understanding of source control tools like Git.
Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions).
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
Eagerness to learn infrastructure-as-code and cloud technologies.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Internship or project experience in DevOps or system administration.
Exposure to container technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana).
Awareness of security best practices in DevOps.
