Job Description
Position: Adult Day School Credit Teachers
Course codes: SBI3C MBF3C MAP4C
Start: September 2 2025
End: TBD /all classes are dependent upon student enrollment
Schedule: Monday to Friday - 7.5 hours per day
Location: Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre
Oshawa Campus: 540 Rossland Road West Oshawa
Ajax Campus: 478 Fairall Street Unit #7 Ajax
Applications are currently being accepted for the above position. The successful applicant should have teachable(s) in at least one of the subject area(s) identified in the above posting and hold certification in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
Required:
- Certificate of Qualification / Interim Certificate of Qualification (must be in good standing)
- Intermediate/Senior Basic Qualifications
Desired:
- Adult and Continuing Education Experience
- Experience teaching on Desire2Learn (D2L) platform as the course is run on D2L with adult students attending in person on-line and/or asynchronously
Rate of Pay:
- Will be paid according to the Continuing Education hourly rate $56.43/hour as per the current collective agreement for each designated day of the program.
