A Day in the Life
Our Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team supports our customers beyond products and devices to create more value for patients. IHS builds on Medtronic s combination on process optimization expertise therapy knowledge and capital resources. The team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain. IHS partners with hospitals and clinics in long term partnerships offering solutions that help care providers optimize costs and outcomes while driving higher value and patient satisfaction.As a Consulting Lead Integrated Health Solutions Benelux you lead the delivery of complex healthcare transformation and optimization programs across the region. You act as the primary consulting partner to hospital clients engaging with C-level executives and clinical leaders to address strategic and operational challenges. The role connects business development enterprise accounts and Medtronics internal units while also coaching and managing a regional team of consultants.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Lead build coordinate staff coach and mentor the regional consulting team
- Provide Healthcare Service/Solution Consultancy; oversee complex consulting projects that involve strategy development organizational transformation and management of the operation to maximize efficiencies
- Partner with the Enterprise Accounts (EA) and IHS Business Development teams and Operating Units to develop enterprise accounts
- Partner with hospital stakeholders to develop well-articulated situation analyses and business cases for change
- Prepare pitches and proposals including scoping and pricing of the commercial consulting offering
- Prepare periodic portfolio reviews of the region
- Capture learnings and best practices to improve client outcomes enrich the consulting toolbox and support EurAsia practice development
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Relevant Masters degree with strong academic and extracurricular achievements
- Extensive experience in consulting (e.g. top-tier firms Big 4 healthcare consulting) or a strong background in the healthcare industry
- Extensive experience working with hospital C-suite and senior stakeholders
- Proven track record in leading end-to-end healthcare transformations from analysis to implementation
- Strong people management coaching and mentoring skills to develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and program management skills with the ability to influence and deliver results
- Fluency in English is essential and knowledge of other languages such as French is an asset
