The Office of Administrative Hearings is hiring for two Office Specialist 1 positions.
The Office of Administrative Hearings is responsible for conducting administrative hearings for most state agencies in the State of Oregon. Our mission is to serve the public by providing impartial fair and efficient contested case hearing services for agencies businesses and individual Oregonians. Every day our staff of dedicated professionals provides hearing services for Oregonians throughout the state regarding issues that affect their daily lives their businesses and their professions. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the receptionist in the Tualatin or Eugene OAH office. This position provides customer service to the public and hearing participants. Provides front line support to the Office of Administrative Hearings operations. Duties include clerical and support functions such as: opening and closing the office daily receptionist duties answering telephones filing documents processing incoming and outgoing mail processing incoming faxes copying and scanning documents ordering supplies loading copy machines checking out equipment and other general office duties as needed.
- Performs tasks for vehicle upkeep as directed by manager. This may include taking vehicle in for service or car wash. On a monthly basis gather mileage sheets for vehicles and forwards information to the Salem point of contact. Request service for office machines.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Required Minimum Qualifications
- One year of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding word processing or other experience generating documents; OR
- An equivalent combination of experience and college coursework or training in a general office occupation.
- This position will require travel including to multiple Office of Administrative Hearings offices throughout the state. Employee is required to possess and maintain a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record to check out a State vehicle.

- The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%. Please review the Classification and Compensation page for more details.

WORK LOCATION INFORMATION:
This position will report to the Tualatin or Eugene OAH office and is not suitable for remote or hybrid remote work.
