The chosen candidate will be joining the Advanced Visualization & Proposal Services (AVPS) Development team as a junior level immersive content creator and real-time developer. The agile-driven Development team is responsible for supporting Advanced Visualization value streams across the entire product lifecycle from capture to sustainment. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining interactive 3D applications by assembling content animating sequences developing UI/UX and optimizing performance in the Unity game engine and other real-time tools. The position is onsite. The successful candidate will be required to report daily to one of our Immersive Design Centers in Tucson AZ; McKinney Tx; Huntsville AL; or Andover MA.We strongly prefer that the applicants are able to produce a portfolio of real-time content upon request.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with the development team to create real-time applications using the Unity game engine
- Create UI/UX for desktop and XR applications
- Contribute to framework of common AVPS tools
- Support live events and demonstrations both local and remote to include engaging internal and external customers
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Role typically requires bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with less than 2 years experience in lieu of degree 6 years of relevant experience will be considered.
- Experience designing UI with Illustrator and implementing in Unity.
- Experience with graphics editing composition motion and framing strategies.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Bachelors degree in digital arts Animation or Game Development
- Enjoys high-paced teams with sometimes multiple simultaneous projects.
- Experience designing UI from scratch with Illustrator and implementing in Unity.
- Able to produce a portfolio of real-time content upon request.
- Experience creating XR applications.
- Experience creating real-time iOS/iPadOS XR applications with Unity.
- Experience with USD and the Nvidia Omniverse platform.
- Experience with Agile processes and Jira tools.
- Extensive experience with Unitys Shader Graph.

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
