JOB DESCRIPTION: The Project Management Assistant/ Prefabrication is responsible for assisting with various tasks related to all aspects of the pre-fabrication and delivery process. The Project Management Assistant/ Prefabrication will report directly to the Pre-Construction Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Input job drawings and fabrication packages into Share File system.
- Build and maintain fabrication tracking spreadsheets.
- Help coordinate and track fabrication deliveries with project managers and field foreman.
- Build and maintain preventative maintenance tracker/records for shop equipment.
- Manage Share File access and set up permissions as needed.
- Download print and manage project plans specifications etc.
- Assist Project Managers and Field Employees with access to prefabrication tracking information and plans.
- Process daily completed fabrication spools and update share file information.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: - Construction industry experience is a strong plus.
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook Word Excel etc.
- Good written and verbal communication skills ability to work with a team at all levels of an organization.
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Organization and time management skills are critical multiple projects will be assigned at the same time; must prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Basic accounting skills
- Ability to understand/analyze project plans/specifications.
