Job Summary
Under minimal supervision the Software Developer will be a hands-on technical member of the Student Administration Systems team responsible for implementing and maintaining software systems and interfaces to various student information systems predominantly in Hyland OnBase and Oracle Peoplesoft Campus Solutions. This is an internal customer-facing role and requires excellent prioritization responsiveness highly technical skills and customer service along with excellent verbal communication skills. In keeping with the Enrollment Services values and competencies the incumbent develops and maintains positive working relationships with internal and external contacts. Furthermore the incumbent provides services that are equitable inclusive and culturally sensitive to enhance the quality of campus life. This position uses a student-centered and equity-minded approach in all communication and service efforts.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Strong blend of technical and interpersonal skills demonstrated through the ability to assess user needs and deliver tailored solutions using consultation expertise. Hands-on experience customizing third-party systems such as OnBase DocuSign and imaging platforms. Ability to collaborate effectively with software vendors to resolve issues develop enhancements and manage upgrades. Proficiency with spans Java C# VB and web technologies including XML XSL HTML and JavaScript complemented by advanced SQL and PL/SQL capabilities and experience with report programming languages. Solid understanding of relational databases data flow analysis flat-file processing and FTP along with expertise in Windows Server administration PC operating systems TCP/IP configuration Microsoft Office and network protocols. Adept at using administrative tools in higher education environments ensuring data integrity through rigorous testing and adherence to approved processes. Ability to maintain comprehensive documentation of roles and responsibilities to support operational continuity and uphold a safe respectful and professional work environment.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies procedures and guidelines including but not limited to safety civility information security and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the universitys commitment to a vision of excellence.
Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelors degree in computer science information systems or a related field and two years of related programming experience required. Certifications in OnBase System Administration OnBase Workflow and/or OnBase API preferred.

Salary placement is determined by the education experience and qualifications the candidate brings to the position internal equity and the hiring departments fiscal resources.
CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $5158 - $12730 per month.
