Salary Range: $71309.00 $89849.00/Annually

ESSENTIAL DUTIES FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directs the productivity of the entire Property department to ensure total quality service and accomplishment of bottom line requirements. Defines and recommends departmental objectives strategic plans prepares budgets and cost reductions targets. Executes established operational goals and ensures that corporate-wide plans are complemented and supported.
  • Supervises directs trains assists and mentors property staff. Ensures that staffing levels are appropriate. Interviews hires and assigns personnel. Establishes work schedules and determines individual or group work schedules. Conducts performance appraisals. Formulates and implements employee corrective actions as needed.
  • Provides leadership through effective goal setting delegation and communication. Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure that personnel are informed of changes in policies and procedures. Discusses and implements solutions for areas in need of improvements.
  • Ensures property functions are completed in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assists in developing policies and procedures for property operations. Conducts periodic reviews of existing policies and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and service delivery. Establishes guidelines for requisitions and inventories. Develops monitors and analyzes key performance indicators for property activities.
  • Keeps the Director of Warehouse informed of property activities and of any significant problems. Provides recommendations to improve property operations and policies.
  • Achieves financial objectives by compiling and studying costs initiating corrective actions and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Attends and participates in meetings and committees as required.
  • Ensures that the receiving/distribution of shipment of goods and services are accurate and effective.
  • Coordinates with various departments in the purchase of property and equipment.
  • Maintains the tracking of the non-capital equipment dispositions.
  • Manages the inventory process of non-capital equipment for disposals surpluses and recycling. Maintains and updates records of all personal property.
  • Assesses and monitors the progress of inventory and disposal of personal property.
  • Manages and monitors the hospital medical gases to meet Occupational Safety Health Administration National Environmental Policy Act and CMS requirements.
  • Assumes responsibility for the storage and accountability of all excess items.
  • Coordinates with departments in archiving files and records. Ensures records are disposed of per established disposal schedules and the proper transfer of the records to the off-site storage facility.
  • Provides all aspects of routine mail operation distributing/dispatching of incoming/outgoing hospital mail includes interdepartmental mail and special delivery services. Operates postage meter equipment.
  • Coordinates routine maintenance and repair of office machines including arrangements for services contracts and emergency repairs. Monitors and schedules preventative maintenance services on all hospital photocopying equipment.
  • Completes required reports records and other documentation as required.
  • Addresses any discrepancies or complaints by ensuring that property problems errors or discrepancies are promptly researched and resolved. Based upon findings prepares necessary documentation coordinates/recommends corrective action and resolves nonstandard transactions complaints or discrepancies.
  • Serves as a liaison between FDIHB and its property vendors by maintaining long-term productive relationships with suppliers and vendors and ensures that FDIHBs professional reputation is maintained.
  • Assists and supports departments with all property processes.
  • Coordinates and informs mangers of any needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:
Five (5) years experience in receiving/distribution of goods and services including one (1) year of lead or supervisory experience.

Education:
Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience

FDIHB and its facilities are located within the Navajo Nation and in accordance with Navajo Nation law has implemented a Navajo/Indian Preference in Employment Policy. Pursuant to this Policy applicants who meet the minimum qualifications for this position and who are enrolled members of the Navajo Nation will be given primary preference in hiring and employment for this position and members of other federally recognized Indian tribes will be given secondary preference.
