HIGH SCHOOL COLLABORATIVE SUPPORT TEACHER (ENG MATH SCIENCE)
Daaxiigan S ada Ne K-12 School
An employment opportunity exists for a Temporary Part-Time (0.572 FTE) High School Collaborative Support Teacher effective September 1 2025 to June 30 2026 at Daaxiigan Sada Ne K-12 School.
Requirements:
- A university teaching major or its equivalent relevantly related to the teaching position;
- Understanding and being committed to the calls to action of the Truth and Reconciliation commission including the eradication of existing and persistent equity gaps for specific groups of children;
- The focus of this role will be to collaborate with classroom teachers to co-plan co-teach and co-assess for personalized student learning;
- Be prepared to provide support in creating inclusive learning environments where students are connected supported engaged and challenged;
- Have proven skills with creating strength-based core competency centred student action plans and supporting student success through individual student goal setting;
- Demonstrated ability to plan organize instruct and evaluate learning activities for students strengths and for their academic social emotional and behavioural needs;
- Understanding of local resources and environment;
- Teacher Regulation Branch certification.
Remote and Rural Allowance: $1736 per annum
Travel Allowance: $650 per annum
