Position to begin for the 2025-2026 School Year
Medicine Hat High School is seeking a dynamic caring and committed educational leader to serve as Vice-Principal. The successful candidate will support our schools focus on fostering a culture of high expectations advancing outcomes-based assessment promoting inclusive practices and enhancing communication across our school community.
This leader will be student-centered collaborative and deeply invested in continuous growth and school improvement. A strong foundation in instructional leadership and current educational practices is essential along with a demonstrated commitment to equity and excellence. The Vice-Principal must align with the mission and values of Medicine Hat High School and Medicine Hat Public School Division and be passionate about supporting the success of all students.
Medicine Hat High School has a total student population of approximately 1300 students and is located in the Southwest Hill area. Medicine Hat High School provides students with a sound academic program in a safe and caring environment. The schools motto is Creating Enthusiasm for Lifelong Learning and its goal is to prepare students for successful academic careers.
This position will start for the 2025-2026 school year. Employees who wish to be considered for this position should review Policy 508: Administrative Appointmentsand Administrative Procedures 508 P 001and 508 P 002. A Masters Degree or currently enrolled in a Masters Program is required.
