About the Position

The Partner Equity & Inclusion is a pivotal role at the forefront of our E&I initiatives driving meaningful impact across ACM. Youll partner with business units to develop and implement targeted projects evolve systems and processes and leverage data to inform decision-making. Reporting to the Head of Equity & Inclusion youll play a key role in advancing our E&I Commitment by leading projects and providing operational support to reduce barriers fostering an equitable inclusive and diverse environment.

With specialist knowledge and experience in DEI practices youll advise consult and coach others managing complex issues related to systemic and cultural barriers. Your ability to influence and champion positive change is critical to success in this role.

Lived professional experience and knowledge of First Nations and racial equity principles and values in the workplace would be desirable.

Full time ongoing position. Band 4.1 $99116.16 p.a. plus superannuation.

About the team

The Equity & Inclusion Team sits within the wider People & Culture business unit and is a passionate dedicated team responsible for leading the Gender Equality Action Plan Reconciliation Action Plan Disability Equity & Inclusion Plan Racial Equity Action Plan and Employee Networks.

Selection Criteria your Skills and Experience

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or a minimum of 3-year experience as a Diversity Equity & Inclusion Practitioner or similar position.
  • Demonstrated achievement and experience in the public sector Not-for-Profit sector social impact and arts and cultural sectors.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of DEI principles legislation and best practices.
  • Demonstrated skills in research evaluation and interpretation of data to inform decision making.
  • Proven ability to analyse issues and overcome barriers to identify effective solutions.
  • Highly developed verbal written communication and presentation skills and the ability to prepare and present clear messages briefs and reports
  • Demonstrated experience of practical knowledge of project management processes workflows and proven ability to prioritise manage project deliverables and effectively manage multiple projects and stakeholders at the same time.
