Job Description

Senior Marketing Manager for Vanguard Advice

Our Personal Advisor and Digital Advisor services empower hundreds of thousands of clients to achieve their financial goals through personalized planning automated investing and dedicated advisor support. Marketing is the driving force behind expanding our reach to millions more leveraging targeted acquisition and retention strategies rooted in consumer insights and data-driven learnings.

We are seeking aSenior Marketing Managerto lead a dynamic cross-functional team of marketers. Your mission is to drive growth and engagement for our advice offerings overseeing a diverse portfolio of marketing strategies that encompass Digital Advisor Personal Advisor and Personal Advisor Select. This role offers the unique opportunity to re-examine our strategy and value proposition at a moment in time when were deepening our commitment to this part of our business. You will work alongside business sales and technology partners to develop and implement strategies that help more investors receive the benefits of personalized advice.

Additionally you will play a critical role in shaping the existing client experience through value-added touchpoints that support retention and loyalty. An ideal candidate is outcome-oriented client-focused and is a strong collaborator and motivator for teams.

Responsibilities

  • Hires evaluates and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards reviews performance and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Develops marketing strategy and roadmap for retail advice offers through a deep understanding of the value proposition target audiences user needs and competitive landscape.
  • Leads a cross-functional team of marketers to action on opportunities and achieve stated outcomes. Cultivates an environment of testing and learning and encourages innovation informed by insights.
  • Maintains a broad knowledge and awareness of marketing industry forces competition and trends to act as a trusted advisor to advice business partners.
  • Serves as the key liaison between business and marketing teams to translate business needs to marketing objectives.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization. Crafts materials that provide insight into the marketing program and demonstrate the value of marketing activities.
  • Drives the development of a continuous feedback loop to gather input from clients sales and other partners regarding business needs.
  • Owns the development of the measurement framework from which to evaluate marketings success. Holds team accountable to defining and achieving key results.
  • Partners closely with sales to connect leads in the funnel to the human channel. Ensures all steps are taken to mitigate risk and maintains control compliance audit and legal requirements in client marketing plans.
  • Maintains an appropriate level of technical marketing and business knowledge to support program implementation.


Qualifications

  • Eight years related work experience Three years of marketing experience.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
