Job Description
EDUCATION
Bachelors degree (Degreed Substitute Teacher) OR High School Diploma or GED
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Flexible and able to adjust daily routine.
- Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Substitutes are employed on an at-will basis and are not considered contractual employees.
Must attend Substitute Orientation once application submitted
FEES:
There is a fingerprinting fee (approximately $50.00) associated with this application process.

$105 day (daily assignments)
$125 day (long-term assignments)
NON-DEGREED
$/90 day (daily assignments)
$125 day (long-term assignments)
CERTIFIED

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for implementing the Districts instructional program and educational philosophy in the subject area or grade level designated in accordance with district policies and procedures on a day to day basis.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing stooping bending pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks media equipment desks and other classroom equipment.
