We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team and support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality delicious meals across our venues.

Overview of the Position

As Sous Chef you will play a vital leadership role in food production kitchen operations and team management. Reporting directly to the Head Chef you will help oversee meal preparation ensure adherence to food safety standards and contribute to maintaining a smooth efficient and organized kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned culinary professional to grow and thrive in a fast-paced team-focused environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist Head Chef in planning and executing daily menus

  • Supervise kitchen staff and delegate food prep and station setup

  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety compliance

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment

  • Monitor food quality and consistency throughout service

  • Train and mentor culinary team members

  • Manage inventory ordering and food cost control

  • Participate in cooking and plating during service as needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2 years of culinary experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or sous chef role

  • Excellent knife skills and deep knowledge of food preparation techniques

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage kitchen workflows and multitask under pressure

  • Experience with inventory ordering and kitchen organization

  • Must be able to work evenings weekends and holidays

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in hot high-paced environments

  • Culinary degree or certification preferred but not required
