Salary Range: $91225.00 - $116768.00/Annually

ESSENTIAL DUTIES FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures timely accurate communications of alerts regarding intrusions and compromises to FDIHBs network infrastructure applications and operating systems.
- Ensures the design and execution of vulnerability assessments penetration tests and security audits.
- Assists with the implementation of counter-measures or mitigating controls.
- Makes recommendations to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency within IT Security.
- Monitors and analyze Advanced Threat events Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) toolsets and event logs to identify security indicator(s) of compromise attacks and threats for remediation and / or suppression.
- Assists in Computer Security Incident Response activities; work with IT and IT Security departments to identify various malicious threats in an enterprise environment.
- Ensures incidents are appropriately generated prioritized in line with defined criteria and are resolved.
- Reviews attack information in preparation for release to or onward review by the Information Security Officer.
- Recognizes potential successful and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises through reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information.
- Maintains up-to-date detailed knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions improved security processes and the development of new attacks and threat vectors.
- Communicates effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
Three (3) years of direct work experience.
Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Science Information Systems Management Mathematics or Technology Management.
