Job Description Summary
The Division of Physical Therapy housed within the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences and the College of Health Professions at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) invites applications for a 12-month open-rank faculty residential position. The DPT program is a residential program using a multi-pronged educational approach that prepares evidence-based ethical and compassionate physical therapists to provide collaborative care that is patient/client-focused. We are seeking candidates who are at the forefront of driving physical therapy education forward through the implementation of innovative teaching models that empower student learning. Candidates with all backgrounds relevant to rehabilitation will be fully considered. Candidates with the ability to teach in a wide variety of topics are particularly encouraged to apply. State-of-the-art lecture and laboratory facilities are available for teaching both traditional lecture and laboratory-based classes. Physical Therapy faculty regularly collaborate with educators in other colleges at MUSC notably including the College of Medicine and clinical departments.
