Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher for our location in Nellore. This is a full-time junior-level position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in social science teaching lesson planning and classroom management and will contribute to a positive learning environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor of Education () degree (Mandatory skill).
- Previous experience as a social science teacher or similar role (Mandatory skill).
- Must be proficient with TGT standards (Mandatory skill).
- Sound knowledge of social sciences topics and the ability to teach SST effectively.
- Proficient in lesson planning to ensure comprehensive coverage of the syllabus.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a disciplined and conducive learning environment.
- Experience in using instructional technology to enhance teaching and engage students.
- Excellent communication skills to foster mentoring relationships with students.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and foster a deep understanding of social sciences.
- Utilize various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities of students.
- Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to student engagement and learning.
- Assess and evaluate students progress through assignments tests and examinations.
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students academic performance and behavior.
- Implement school policies and regulations related to student conduct and performance.
- Encourage students to explore and engage with the content and foster a passion for learning.
