YOUR NEW ROLE
Using best practice change management methodologies the role ensures the organisation has the change management framework and tools to support the effective delivery of projects and change initiatives. As part of the Enterprise Risk & Program Management Office this role will partner with project sponsors and managers to provide expert change management advice in the planning and delivery of key organisation wide projects at the Opera House.
The position plays a lead role in key change initiatives and partners with project personnel to establish clear and comprehensive change plans monitor progress and facilitate cross functional collaboration to ensure the successful achievement of project deliverables business outcomes and organisation and cultural renewal. The role seeks to identify operational and business process impacts associated with major projects and change initiatives to ensure change plans support the realisation of agreed project benefits.

ARE YOU THE ONE
We are looking for someone who has:
Bachelors level minimum tertiary qualification (Business Change Management Program/Project Management Technology) or equivalent experience.
Sound knowledge of best practice change and project management principles and experience in applying these.
Experience in managing the development and implementation of change initiatives designed to improve organisational effectiveness.
Ability to build effective business partnering relationships including an ability to analyse and evaluate and develop options and solutions.
Well-developed interpersonal facilitation influencing negotiation networking and relationship management skills
Strong communication skills including report writing and presentation skills/experience.
Experience knowledge and understanding of the Performing Arts Industry or experience in a sector or industry with similar complexities.
