This is a contingent position based upon contract award
KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Logistics Officer to join our team supporting a government client with locations in Washington Metropolitan Area.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Logistics Officer duties will include working as part of a team that will:
- Ensure material and equipment are catalogued to a standard nomenclature in automated management systems to enhance tracking reordering and excess identification processes.
- Manage maintain and report the procurement function to support the acquisition and tracking of material assets and subcontracts for the operation maintenance and management of the Customers facilities.
- Conduct weekly stock reviews to ensure accuracy of inventory records and that stock items are serviceable.
- Support the staging packing loading and transport of equipment/articles
- Transporting goods and personnel using Government owned or leased support vehicles.
- Operate loading docks at multiple facilities to include receipt transfer and storage of supplies materials equipment delivered and departing from customer facilities and assisting with any material movement discrepancies.
Qualifications
Required:
- Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request
- 5 years of related experience. of experience
- Must be a US Citizen
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated logistics related experience.
- Experience in operations involving loading docks and the associated operation safety concerns and maintenance of vehicles and equipment associated with such operations.
- Experience applying simplified procurement processes (e.g. credit card non-contractual procurements).
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) as it relates to procurement.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and related software.
Basic Compensation:
$47300 - $71000
This range is for the Maryland area only
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge skills abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus relocation benefits short term incentives long term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
