Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Implementation:
- Develop comprehensive solution designs considering business needs technical constraints and architectural principles.
- Define architectural frameworks and design patterns for reusable components and infrastructure.
- Determine the best technologies and platforms to meet specific business requirements.
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions.
- Oversee the implementation of solutions ensuring they align with the defined architecture and business goals.
- Technical Leadership:
- Lead the design and development of key features optimizations and integrations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Champion strategies that drive process improvements and ensure efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with customers company stakeholders and development teams to define solution requirements.
- Align architectural direction with business stakeholders ensuring it meets their needs.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences explaining technical concepts and solutions.
- Business Acumen:
- Understand the business requirements and objectives of the projects they are involved in.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Assess the financial and operational impacts of architectural decisions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 15 years of experience and Masters degree in Computer Science or similar degree.
- TS/SCI CI Polygraph
- Experience with various software development methodologies (Agile DevOps).
- Experience with solutioning and writing winning proposals for the Department of Defense.
- Ability to communicate and present ideas to key stakeholders. Specific experience includes writing documenting and presenting technical material to senior level officials (SES and higher)
- A deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles with specific operational knowledge of DIA enterprise services to include AAC ESS and container service mesh.
- Experience with project management approaches and tools.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary software development teams in excess of 100 FTEs.
- Strong understanding CI/CD pipelines to include DIAs AIDE/DPAAS ACAS STIG standards RMF and the steps for acquiring an ATO.
- Operational knowledge of DIAs microservice architecture
- Experience with the Object Based Production suite of tools including the Object Management Service
- Operational knowledge of DIA enterprise services to include AAC ESS and container service mesh.
- Experience establishing / managing an Agile Release Train and applying Scaled Agile Framework to achieve broad agency goals.
