Consistent with the Agreement between the North Canton City Schools Board of Education and the North Canton Education Association the following position is being posted for the period of June 4 - 17 2025 or until filled.
Part-Time Advanced Mathematics Teacher
- Building: North Canton Intermediate School
- 1.75 hours per day
- 2025-26 School Year
- Description: This teacher will support subject accelerated 5th grade students in the mastery of grades 5 through 8 mathematics standards by utilizing ALEKS (an online mathematics curriculum) and also supplementing with other materials to fill learning gaps and provide enrichment to accelerate growth opportunities for students
- Required Licensure:Candidates should possess (or will possess by the start of the school year) a currently valid Ohio teacher license that certifies them to teach mathematicsfor grades 5 6 7 and 8 (experiencewith teaching Algebra or Algebra readiness would also be helpful but not required)
