A successful candidate should be comfortable working as part of team and have strong oral and written communication skills. Appropriate DESE licensure in Moderate is required and candidates should have previous experience working with elementary school students with a variety of disabilities including Specific Learning Disabilities Emotional Impairment Communication Disorders etc. Restraint training and three years of experience is preferred. Candidates should have experience in the following areas: Strong behavior management skills Collecting and analyzing behavioral and academic data Providing specially designed instruction in both inclusion and pull-out settings Scheduling integration time for students Providing supervision to paraprofessionals Supporting social skills development Differentiating instruction Knowledge of a variety of academic programs Evaluating students using a variety of assessments (e.g. WIAT GORT TOWL CTOPP etc.) Writing reports goals IEPs and progress notes One position- Sub- separate classroom One position - Inclusion classroom
