We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead end-to-end project and program management efforts within the telecom domain specifically focusing on wired broadband and wireless networks. This role will drive the delivery of complex software and system development initiatives collaborating closely with cross-functional teams internal stakeholders and external clients/vendors. You will be accountable for managing multiple concurrent programs ensuring alignment with business goals timelines and budgets while adhering to Agile and SDLC best practices.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive program management for one or more large-scale complex programs or portfolios that span multiple regions functions or business units.

  • Define project/program scopes objectives and resource requirements; develop detailed work plans schedules and status reports.

  • Direct cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships to ensure on-time on-budget delivery of program deliverables.

  • Champion Agile and SDLC adherence embedding quality standards and continuous process improvements throughout the lifecycle.

  • Consult with clients and stakeholders on business goals development strategies and best practices to align technology solutions with organizational needs.

  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to teams troubleshoot issues and recommend actionable solutions.

  • Communicate effectively with clients vendors and leadership providing transparent updates on project status and risks.

Education

Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial Systems Computer Electrical Engineering) Computer Science Information Systems Mathematics or a related field is preferred. PMP certification is highly desirable.

Experience

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in the telecom industry with specific expertise in wired broadband and wireless domains.

  • Minimum 4 years of technical management experience with a strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • At least 4 years working with AT&T BSS/OSS systems and familiarity with network elements including EMS (Element Management Systems) and CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) platforms.

Our Principal Software Deliv Project/Program Mgmt earns between $128400-$192600 USD Annual not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography experience expertise and education/training.
