Job Description
Job Title: Material Handler / Forklift Driver / Janitorial Support
Location: Canton MI
Schedule: Full time Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Material Handler / Forklift Driver / Janitorial Support. This multi-functional role involves the safe handling of materials operating a forklift and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling/ Forklift Operation:
Load unload and move materials within the facility
Organize inventory and ensure accurate labeling and placement
Assist in shipping and receiving operations
Forklift Operation:
Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Inspect and maintain forklift equipment daily
Transport materials to designated areas as needed
Janitorial Duties:
Perform general cleaning of warehouse and office areas
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms breakrooms and high-traffic areas
Handle waste removal and recycling according to procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Previous experience in warehouse manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
