Position Title: Case Manager of ELECT (Education Leading to Employment and Career Training) programming to expectant and parenting teens
Reports To: Turning Points for Childrens ELECT Program Manager (Family Support Services Department)
Status: Full-Time/Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
Turning Points is one of the largest social service agencies in Philadelphia supporting the needs of more than 10000 men women and children throughout the city. We offer programs that help families in raising safe healthy educated and strong children by partnering with caregivers to develop and strengthen protective qualities and by offering them the tools skills and resources needed to ensure their childrens optimal development.
The Case Manager is responsible for the provision of case management and a broad array of academic and social services to eligible ELECT (Education Leading to Employment and Career Training) program participants (expectant and parenting young adults) to help them stay in school navigate healthy parenting graduate successfully transition to employment/post-secondary education and achieve overall self-sufficiency. The ELECT program always works to connect the students to educational and cultural activities that promote students understanding of child development nurturing parenting practices and exposes students to experiences that help them and their children grow and thrive.
