KBR is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support a confidential Defence project.
This is a full-time fixed term position for four (4) months based in Canberra. Interstate applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
This position will require an active AGSVA NV1 clearance on commencement and the successful candidate must be willing to upgrade to an NV2.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage commercial strategies to support the tendering process.
- Prepare and review RFT documentation to ensure compliance with Defence procurement requirements.
- Evaluate commercial aspects of bid responses ensuring alignment with project goals and financial objectives.
- Provide expert commercial advice to the project team and stakeholders.
- Ensure all commercial and contractual risks are effectively managed.
Required Qualifications Experience and Knowledge
- Experience in commercial management contract negotiation and procurement within a Defence setting.
- Strong knowledge of ASDEFCON Defence procurement frameworks and RFT processes
- Ability to review interpret and assess commercial and financial aspects of tender responses.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- An active NV1 security clearance (essential).
