Meeting Street is currently looking for a Middle School Mathematics Teacher for 40 per week.
Duties:
- Teaches concepts and skills in mathematics to middle school students (Grades 5-8) utilizing course of study and curriculum adopted by The Grace School both in person and virtually.
- Has knowledge of and a strong interest in mathematics.
- Deep understanding of mathematical concepts and processes taught ability to use this knowledge to analyze students mathematical thinking and understandings
- Co-teaches with special educator on a daily basis and identifies and provides opportunities for inclusive instruction.
- Develops lesson plans and instructional materials that consistently contain diverse content throughout the academic year
- Demonstrates concepts and strategies using models talk reflective writing and other available resources including technology
- Knowledge of developmental benchmarks (key understandings) in math education
