Job Description

High School Long Term Substitute School NurseReports To: High School PrincipalDanvers Public Schools seeks a Long Term Substitute School Nurse for the Danvers High School. Must have proper DESE certification.Job Description:
  • We are seeking a second nurse to work with our full-time nurse in our middle school setting
  • Providing Nurse care to students and staff
  • Monitoring health plans for students
  • Treat student injuries or illnesses and advise students their parents or guardians and staff on health issues.
  • Support students with chronic illnesses and disabilities for example by administering medication to them (e.g. insulin injections).
  • Knowledge of basic computer software is a plus as nurses often perform administrative tasks such as updating students medical records.Additional Information:The Danvers Public School District is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in education and employment.
