Job Description

High School Long Term Substitute School NurseReports To: High School PrincipalDanvers Public Schools seeks a Long Term Substitute School Nurse for the Danvers High School. Must have proper DESE certification.Job Description:

We are seeking a second nurse to work with our full-time nurse in our middle school setting

Providing Nurse care to students and staff

Monitoring health plans for students

Treat student injuries or illnesses and advise students their parents or guardians and staff on health issues.

Support students with chronic illnesses and disabilities for example by administering medication to them (e.g. insulin injections).

Knowledge of basic computer software is a plus as nurses often perform administrative tasks such as updating students medical records.Additional Information:The Danvers Public School District is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in education and employment.
