Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide (HHA) - Daytona Beach Shores

Preferred Care at Home of Coastal Volusia a nationwide senior care company is seeking qualified candidates in the Daytona Beacharea. We provide one-on-one care for seniors in their home or wherever they call home to perform services that are needed.

**We are looking for qualified candidates open for weekend shifts**

Compensation and Benefits:

• Weekly Pay

• Compensation: $15 - $16

• Workers compensation

Personal Care Responsibilities:

• Help clients with daily activities including but not limited to: bathing dressing serving meals helping clients eat turning clients and ambulating clients

• Take vital signs

• Examine clients for bruises blood in urine or other injuries/wounds

• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers nurses doctors and family members

• Provide and empty bedpans

• Lift clients into beds wheelchairs exam tables etc.

• Clean and sanitize client areas including changing bed sheets

• Stay up-to-date ontraining policies and procedures

Requirements:

• 18 years or older with a High school diploma or GED

• Completion of a state-approved CNA or HHA certification training course

• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification or BLS (CPR and AED)

• HIV/AIDs course completion (HHA only)

• Level 2 background check on file or the ability to pass one

• Ability to think and work independently and with direction

• Good communication skills and bedside manner with a compassionate personality

Weekly schedule:

• Weekend availability (required)
• Rotating weekends
• Day shifts
• Night shifts (preferred)
• Overnights
