In our dynamic collaborative school teaching assistants work closely with their colleagues helping shape the culture of the school in accordance with the schools mission and EL Education practices of challenging project-based learning. Qualifications:Successful experience working with students with experience working in schools qualities that exemplify the schools emphasis on character and community including genuine interest in and connection with adolescents eagerness to serve as an advisor strong interpersonal skills commitment to teamwork and readiness to reflect and for the Expeditionary Learning (EL) design model and commitment to work with colleagues to support implementation of EL core and competencies in the area of middle school math and science training and interest in working with students who have a range of abilities within heterogeneously grouped classes including students with learning differences and special for the schools mission and its themes of nature technology and community; understanding of the schools responsibilities as a charter public school; and the energy flexibility and sense of adventure required to work hard as a member of the core faculty in a young school.
