Looking for a new opportunity
Snohomish County Human Services is hiring for one (1) Human Services Specialist II position to support Long-Term Care & Aging (LTCA) Units contract management special projects and provide direct support to Snohomish Countys Council on Aging (COA) advisory body.
Position Purpose:
This position will support contract management work within the LTCA Unit and provide technical assistance training and support to contracted agencies. Additionally this position will have a lead role in special projects and support coordination of Snohomish Countys COA whos advisory body role is to advise and advocate for older persons and adults with disabilities in Snohomish County.
This position will collaborate with program and contract staff who are committed to providing the best possible services for Snohomish County residents. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with contracted providers partner agencies community stakeholders volunteer boards department heads and members of the general public. This is a hybrid position and the successful candidate will be required to work in the office according to the business needs of the work unit.

BASIC FUNCTIONA Bachelors degree in business or public administration one of the social sciences or other field directly related to human services; PLUS two (2) years progressively responsible experience in human services program planning grant preparation and management or in a closely related field; OR any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities. Must pass job related tests.
