Job Description
Position: Part-Time Personal Assistant (with Light Housekeeping)
Location: Broad & Spruce Philadelphia PA
Compensation: $35$45/hour
Hours: Approximately 25 hours/week with potential for growth
A busy professional based in a 4500 sq ft apartment at Broad & Spruce in Philadelphia is seeking a reliable detail-oriented Part-Time Personal Assistant to help keep life running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being organized proactive and hands-on with both personal and home tasks. The role is currently about 25 hours per week with flexibility to grow as responsibilities increase over time.
Key Responsibilities
Retrieve and sort incoming mail
Manage personal errands and shopping
Handle laundry and put away clean items
Perform light tidying and home upkeep tasks (no deep cleaning)
Schedule and liaise with vendors including coordinating a move-out cleanout crew and hiring a deep cleaner
Assist with property management and potential real estate activity in the future
Maintain an organized functional home environment
Provide occasional calendar/scheduling support (currently minimal)
Ideal Candidate
Highly organized and resourceful
Able to take initiative with minimal supervision
Comfortable communicating with vendors and service providers
Trustworthy and respectful of privacy
Lives in or near Center City Philadelphia
Flexible and open to evolving responsibilities over time
Details:
The client works from home most days and is occasionally in the office.
There is no parking available on-site so candidates should plan accordingly.
Travel and other obligations may require occasional flexibility but the overall schedule is adaptable.
This is a calm low-pressure role that will suit someone who enjoys supporting a private individual and ensuring a smooth daily routine. The client is not in a rush to hire but is looking to meet the right long-term fit.
