ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To supervise multiple computer technology project work groups consisting of professional level and support staff members; and to analyze research recommend and develop complex hardware software network and telecommunication systems for Districts user sections and departments.

Under the direction of an Information Technology Supervisor the incumbent will:
Plan organize coordinate and monitor work in support of major information technology infrastructure in the following areas: network and telecommunications Azure physical and virtual desktops mobile devices data integrity and storage management backup and recovery surveillance camera technology enterprise resource planning (ERP) and document management systems
Complete high level system feasibility studies and requirements analyses to determine needs and cost benefit analysis to evaluate business value
Perform system reviews to ensure conformance to Information Technology standards
Consult with vendors to resolve system and infrastructure issues
Participate in the selection evaluation and discipline of employees supervised pursuant to established Districts and Human Resources Department policies and procedures
Assist in setting and achieving Technical Services Groups goals and objectives aligned with Information Technologys mission statement and core functions
Provide technical advice to professional staff and oversee their training
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must possess all of the following:
A valid California Class C driver license
A bachelors degree in computer science or a closely related field from an accredited college
Status as Senior Systems Analyst with recent experience in systems analysis; OR Five (5) years of experience in computer systems analysis including one (1) year of supervisory experience. A masters degree in computer science or a closely related field may be substituted for one (1) year of non-supervisory experience
Desirable qualifications:
Excellent planning organization and documentation skills
Experience with IT infrastructure including network telecommunications and datacenter operations
Experience with Cloud infrastructure management

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Selection Process:
All applications will be reviewed to determine if the conditions and qualifications for testing are met.
Candidates must receive qualifying scores on each selection component to move forward in the selection process.
The selection process will consist of a technical writing project weighted at 30% and an interview weighted at 70%.
The initial review of applications is expected to begin the week of July 7.
