Job Description
York Adult and Community Education is seeking a qualified Student Services Coordinator tojoin our team. This person is responsible for working directly with the Adult Education Director inplanning coordinating and assisting in all activities related to the adult education academicprograms needs of academic students and data reporting for grants. This position requires bothadministrative and teaching responsibilities with very strong attention to Description:The Adult Education Student Services Coordinator works with the adult education team to createa welcoming environment for adult academic students to thrive. The ideal candidate is someonewho enjoys advising and helping adult students achieve their goals. Experience working withadults low income at-risk individuals and in academic and career advising is of career pathways college transitions and working with nontraditional students aplus. Experience in standards-based curriculum development and instruction preferred. A highlevel of oral and written communication skills is required for this position. We are looking forsomeone who is extremely proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel) for both PC and Apple OSand has the ability to learn other program software quickly. The successful candidate will be veryorganized and able to maintain accurate student records in writing in the State mandated datamanagement system and in Excel. Ability to interpret data required. Effective communication withadult education staff is necessary in order to ensure student success.
