Bethesda is currently recruiting for Records Student Co-Op Placement. This position will be based in Vineland Ontario. The Records Student Co-Op Placement provides administrative support to the Manager of Records Department.
This is an unpaid Co-Op placement for current student enrolled in a Records Management or related course. This positions would be starting September 8 2025 for 7 weeks for approximately 112 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that Records Policies and Procedures regarding confidentiality of client files are adhered to.
- Provide support in completion of electronic records using NucleusLabs Client Management System.
- Review closed files and ensure retention schedules meet legislative requirements
- Review electronic filing system and ensure files are saved correctly and the retention schedules meet legislative requirements
- Scan documents as needed
- Complete filing adhering to proper procedures and guidelines
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Enrollment in Records Management or related course
- Knowledge of various record storage alternatives
- Attention to detail
- Ability work independently
- Strong organization skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Professional Communication Skills: professionally represents the company through strong communication skills both oral and written.
- Teamwork: excels at working with others and communicating with a team to provide the most effective support to clients.
- Problem-Solving: able to navigate challenges and barriers always looks for potential pitfalls and risks to help mitigate problems ahead of time and knows when to ask for help.
- Proactive: anticipates and solves problems and issues before they are brought to your attention.
- Fluent in French is an asset.
