Job Description
Job Title:Occupational Therapist
Grade:Band 5
Location:Southall Middlesex
Working Hours:37.5 hours per week
Rate:Competitive details to be discussed upon application
We are seeking a proactive and compassionateBand 5 Occupational Therapistto join our NHS client in Southall Middlesex. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload under supervision delivering occupational therapy interventions to support patient recovery and independence.
- Conduct assessments of patients functional abilities and needs in daily living activities.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Participate in team meetings case discussions and service development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc (Hons) or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Newly qualified or up to 2 years post-qualification experience
- Strong communication organisational and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and develop within a supportive team environment
