Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate required
- Math major/minor required secondary certification.
- Demonstrated interest/experience in working with adult students
- Technology proficiency
- Ability to foster an effective learning environment for multiple age levels
- Ability to implement multiple teaching methods styles and materials
- To work cooperatively with other teaching and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality instruction that supports and aligns to the State of Michigan and the districts educational vision and mission.
- Facilitate an environment that fosters the learning of all students.
- Utilize educational technology to support students instruction and learning.
- Develop and deliver daily lesson plans utilizing a broad range of appropriate differentiated techniques and strategies to ensure learners meet or exceed learning targets.
- Analysis of real-time data pertaining to student learning.
- Responsible for tracking student progress and communicating to students and administration.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with students peers and community.
- Follow policies and procedures outlined by the Supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
