OCFO Financial Management Analysts

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Commercial Satellite Communications Office (CSCO) is responsible for procuring commercial satellite services through its two primary business divisions: Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM) and Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services (EMSS). Ensures continuous reliable and secure global connectivity for the Department of Defense (DoD) other federal agencies and international partners. These services underpin mission-critical operations disaster recovery and global mobility by providing comprehensive managed services and enhanced security measures requiring uninterrupted support to continue effectively supporting warfighters worldwide.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Implement and monitor internal controls
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Assist with accounting software and tools: Oversee FM accounting systems and ensure data is entered correctly and efficiently
- Ensure data integrity: Maintain accurate and secure financial records within the system
- Identify and implement best practices for improving efficiency in accounting functions (e.g. automation of routine tasks)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 10 years of financial management experience in a Working Capital Fund (WCF) environment or 5 years of experience
- Any of the following degrees/certifications; a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Certified Defense Finance Manager (CDFM) Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
- Experience in accounting operations management desirable
