Nine (9) years experience in Software Engineering Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring Guava) Bachelors in related field; seven (7) years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and thirteen (13) years relevant experience.

Description
Erias Ventures is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to design develop and implement complicated and difficult software capabilities for computer based systems. Will work with other talented engineers with modern tools and technologies.
This position allows for partial telework.
Clearance
A current Secret level U.S. Government Security Clearance. Can also consider candidates with a current Secret or TS/SCI level clearance. Candidate can also be sponsored under this position must be clearable.

Required skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring Guava) and a Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Experience in designing enterprise APIs.
- Experience in RESTful web services.
- Experience in Microservices architecture.
- Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms.
- Experience with the agile software lifecycle.
- Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting.
- Experience with the Linux operating system.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git Nexus Maven).
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers on a daily basis.
- DoD 8570 compliance certification is required (i.e. Security).
- Must be able to work on customer site in Augusta GA 2-3 days a week. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.
Desired skills:
- Experience with NiFi Kafka AWS Infrastructure and K8s.
- Experience in cloud based technologies (AWS Azure).
- Experience in distributed databases NoSQL databases full text-search engines (e.g. Elasticsearch MongoDB Solr)
- Scripting experience is a huge plus.
- Prior experience or familiarity with our Big Data Platform is a plus.
- Understanding of AGILE software development methodologies and use of standard software development tool suites. (e.g. JIRA Confluence Github Enterprise etc.)
