JobPurpose :
To Lead the procurement installation and commissioning of critical production equipment
ensuring timely delivery optimal performance and adherence to project timelines and
quality standards.
Roles & Responsibility :
Project Review
.Review and analyse project technical specifications drawings and contract documents .
.Develop detailed package execution strategies aligned with overall project schedule .
.Create package specific schedules that integrate with the master project timeline .
.Lead/ Lag time against approve package schedule for mechanical completion of construction .
.Lead /Lag time against approved package implementation schedule for pre- commissioning till
first product out.
.Lead /Lag time against approved package schedule for on site delivery of package equipment and
Associated system.
.Prepare technical inputs for all statutory and regulatory approvals.
.Liaison and communicate with regulatory bodies as required for reviews and approvals .
Construction Coordination
.Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during package execution .
.Monitor construction progress against package milestones.
.Coordinate equipment installation and system integration along with testing and commissioning
activities within package scope.
.Manage package specific safety requirementsand compliance.
.Manage technical interfaces between different packages utility systems process equipment
Cost control Systems and technical building services .
Cost Controls
.Develop and maintain package budgets track costs and forecast expenditures
.Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities. Manage change order variations.
.Review and approve vendor and contractor payment applications
Contract Administration
.Administrator package contracts Monitor contractor performance manager claims & Disputes.
.Ensure contractual compliance maintain package documentations.
Procurement Coordination
.Prepare detailed scope of work documents and technical specifications
.Create MRP packages and manage the TBE & MRP process .
.Monitor vendor progress to ensure compliance with project requirement
Quality & EHS
.Implement package specific quality control measures Review quality documentation and test report.
.Participate in inspection visits to vendor works during different project stages.
.Coordinate factory acceptance tests site acceptance testing.
.Coordinate safety audits within package scope
.Ensure compliance with project safety requirements
Commissioning & Close-Out
.Coordinate package commissioning activities Oversee system integration Testing .
.Manage punch list items and ensure completion of all package requirements .
Relevant Experience
Minimum 12-16 years of EPC Project management experience in process industry ( Refinery petrochemicals ) other allied industry with proven track record.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelors-in-Engineering (any discipline) / Engineering Graduate
Desirable
Masters-in-Engineering (any discipline)/ Engineering Post-Graduate
